A private room for business owners and senior leaders who’ve outgrown what got them here and know the next move isn’t another strategy.
Mike Campbell — 12+ years coaching men · 3,000+ men · 60+ business owners · 300+ ELA graduates · Author, Unleash Your Alpha
You’ve built the thing. Revenue’s there, team’s in place, your name carries weight in rooms you walked into as a nobody ten years ago.
From the outside, you’ve won. From the inside, something’s off. Sharp at work, dropping the ball at home. A gap that nags at you. A discomfort that lives in the silent moments.
Or maybe it’s not the home stuff at all – not yet anyway. It’s the business. The ceiling you can’t crack. The same problems showing up in different clothes. You’re working as hard as you ever have and it’s just… not moving the way it should. The thing you built feels like it’s running you.
Not failing – just flawed in the places that cost you. The wife sees it. The kids feel it. You see it on the drive back from a week away, or on a Sunday afternoon when nothing’s on fire and you can’t sit still.
That’s the honest read. Not the P&L, not what your team thinks of you. The Sunday afternoon. The moments when life slows down and you sabotage the peace.
You’ve done some of the inner work. Maybe a lot. Systems. Communication. Strategy. It sticks, but not where it matters.
It hasn’t truly carried into how you lead, how you rest, or how you feel when things go quiet and you’ve got nothing left to solve.
When you stop and look, you see an identity built for a version of life you’re either living now or still sprinting toward. Some of you feel like you’ve arrived. Others are still building – and wondering why it already feels like this before you’ve even got there. Either way, you built it thinking the feeling would follow. It hasn’t. The climbing didn’t stop. And now the mind can’t. The movement can’t.
You’re probably reading this between things. That’s the point.
You've built the life you can't enjoy.

You understand structure. You’ve built load-bearing things. A business, a team, a reputation, a family. You know what it looks like when something’s been done right. Structurally strong.
And you know, if you’re honest, when something looks right on the outside but is compromised underneath.
That’s what’s happening here. Not in the business – in the man running it. In you.
The engine that built all of this ran on a specific fuel. The belief that if you built enough, achieved enough, earned enough … the feeling of enough would finally arrive. That belief is a hell of a driver. Look at what it produced.
That fuel builds. It just can’t sustain the man running it. It doesn’t bring peace, only a hole that no amount of building will fill.
It built the exterior. Meanwhile the man at the centre of it got left behind – same foundation, same drivers – while everything around him grew. The business, the team, the family. You built it all up. The thing running you didn’t get the same work.
The structure can’t hold the weight anymore. Not because you’re weak. Because the man at the centre kept running on the same foundation while the load got heavier. You built all of it. The feeling never came. Now the gap widens.
You can feel it. It’s not a weakness. That’s structural integrity doing its job – it tells you before the thing fails.
"What if I leaned the fuck into my business, into my marriage, and it's not good enough?" I'd been running on that question for years without knowing it.

The cost of staying the same is real. And you’ve been paying it.
It’s in the slow erosion of who you thought you were going to be.
The years your kids don’t get the best of you. The marriage that’s been running on reserves for longer than you’d like to admit.
It’s the gap when you look in the mirror. The man who’s chased the path, achieved the things, got the life yet it feels like something is missing. It’s heavy. Flat.
There’s tension where there shouldn’t be. Pain where you thought there’d be peace.
That’s the cost. Not a crisis. Crises are easier – they have edges, they end. A crisis means you can get to work and be useful. Purpose. Something to solve. Value.
This is more subtle than that. A slow tax on the people closest to you, and on the version of yourself you promised you’d become. The longer that runs, the harder it is to remember what you were actually building it for.
You already know the cost. You're living it.
And if your instinct right now is “I don’t have time for this” – that’s not a reason to wait. It’s the reason to act. That’s the cost naming itself. Busyness this chronic has an endpoint. A health scare. A marriage that finally runs out of road. An “Ah fuck” moment you don’t see coming. Don’t wait for that to make the decision for you.

Zeus Black is a private room for the men who built it, run it, and are starting to wonder what the point was. Business owners and senior leaders doing the work. Eight men maximum.
These men are building at your level or above it. That proximity does something that no amount of 1:1 coaching fully replicates – you can’t sit across from a man further down the road you’re on without being pulled forward. Their standard becomes part of yours. Their insight lands differently than advice from someone who hasn’t built what you’ve built. The room expands you in ways that only a room can.
Who you're in the room with is part of the offer.
Who you become in it is the rest.
No guru at the front. No tourists in the room. No men’s work theatrics. Just a room where the truth can be told without it costing you your reputation, your business, or your marriage.
The room runs for 12 months. You join when you’re ready. No cohort start dates to wait for. The application moves when you do.
Every member starts here, a half day with Mike to create clarity, direction, and cut away deadwood that’s costing you right now. In-person, where possible. Your foundation set before the room begins. Included.
One dedicated Zeus Black Hunt & Gather – a backcountry experience in Central Otago. Remote, physical, off the grid. The level up requires a level down.
One city intensive – a full day of concentrated work with the room. Location confirmed closer to the date.
No set office hours, no gatekeeping. Proximity to him when you need it.
ELA, Sovereign OS, and private frameworks. Everything Mike has built – yours.

Most men don’t have a business problem. They have an identity problem showing up as one.
You’ve probably been told your business needs better systems, better hires, better strategy. All true. But the reason you can’t implement any of it isn’t capability, it’s that you built the business as an extension of you, and your bullshit, your limitations show up and keep looking like business problems. They’re yours.
For some of you that shows up in the business. For others the business is the one thing working – and everything outside it is paying the price.
Either way it’s the same problem. The man running the business is the same man going home at night. Most coaches will help you with one or the other. The reason neither works alone is that they were never separate to begin with. That’s the work here.
The business was built by a version of you that ran on proving. On doing. On not stopping long enough to check what was underneath. That version got you here. That version is also the reason you come home reactive and short on a Wednesday night and can’t tell your wife why. Empty on Thursday, there but not there.
The reason good people on your team can’t read you. The reason you keep solving the same problem in different forms. The reason you keep grinding yourself down.
The version of you the business needs you to retire.
That’s the actual work. Not systems. Not strategy. How you lead without bleeding out. How you make the call when the data’s clear but something in you still hesitates. How you stop dragging your unresolved shit into every room you walk into.
The man behind the business – and whether he’s been built to the same standard as everything around him.
The honest reckoning. What’s actually running you, where it came from, the identity you built around the wound and have been protecting ever since. Most men have spent years building a life that keeps them from having to look at this. That stops here.
What you actually want once the old drivers loosen their grip. Your real values – not the ones you perform, the ones that have been buried under the proving. The man you’re capable of being when you stop running on the fuel that got you here.
Not a destination. A daily standard. Value-led choices, real relationships, purpose over performance. The practice of the man you claimed in the second stage. This is where it stops being insight and starts being a life.
Three stages. Twelve months. One room.

Mike Campbell has spent 12+ years coaching men. More than 3,000 of them, across 20+ countries. More than 60 business owners. He’s held rooms through divorce, business failure, grief, and the particular silence of men who have created something and feel nothing.
He is not a strategy coach. Not a business consultant. Not a motivational speaker. He reads men quickly and says the thing they’ve been avoiding. Not to wound – to move.

Raising the standard for men. Holding it. Bringing you with me.
Men who can lead without bleeding out.
The destination isn’t a different business or a fixed marriage – it often becomes both. It’s not a fixed marriage or a better morning routine. It’s a man who runs the thing instead of being run by it. Whose family gets the best of him, not the leftover scraps. Whose kids actually know him.
A man who can sit in a room full of pressure and come out the same size he walked in.
Solid all the way through.
The man inside finally matches the life outside.
Get this right and everything else – the marriage, the business, how you feel on a Tuesday – follows.
Six months in, one of the men said this. Just like that. Like it was nothing.

Zeus Black isn’t right for everyone. It’s built that way.
This isn’t for men who want someone to fix the business without looking at the man running it.
This isn’t for men who think the problem is external – market, team, partner, economy.
This isn’t for men who need to be managed into the work. Their hand constantly held.
This isn’t for men whose first question is about ROI. The man who’s right for this room thinks carefully before he commits to anything significant. So does Mike. The question isn’t whether it’s worth it. It’s what it costs if you don’t.
If you're still deciding whether anything needs to change, this isn't the room. The men who apply aren't certain about everything - but they're certain about that. They came in knowing something had to shift. They didn't need convincing of that. They needed a place to do it and someone who could see what they couldn't.
An 12 question written application.
A 30-minute call with Mike.
A decision both ways.
The application is the first piece of work. If the process feels like a hurdle, the room might not be for you. Fastest way to find out is to apply and speak with Mike.
One more thing, before the numbers. Whatever this costs, that’s not the number that matters most. The number that matters is what staying the same costs.
I’ve worked with men who waited too long on the relationship side and it cost them everything – two households, legal fees, years of disruption, and a level of pain that no amount of revenue makes easier. I’ve worked with men who stayed stuck in their business for years past the point where it should have changed – same ceiling, same problems, same exhaustion, working like an employee in the thing they built. In both cases, the cost of waiting dwarfed the cost of acting.
Whatever the return looks like for you, the question is the same: what does another year of staying the same actually cost?
The upfront option saves $4,000 NZD.
Zeus Black runs on Aus/NZ time and the in-person gatherings are based here. If you’re outside that and you’re serious about making it work – timezone, travel and all – that conversation is worth having. The application will tell us both whether it makes sense.
The commitment is 12 months. That’s not a contract clause – it’s the work. Men who keep one foot out don’t do what men who are fully in do. You’ll know that about yourself before you finish reading this page.
If something significant changes in your life – something real, not something hard – we’ll have a conversation. That includes what it means financially. That’s different from a back door.
If you’re already thinking about the exit before you’ve walked in, that’s worth examining before you apply. It’s usually not about the logistics.
Two gatherings per year. The Hunt & Gather is a backcountry experience in Central Otago. Remote, physical, off the grid. Work can’t reach you. Performance has nowhere to hide.
For most men in this room, that’s the point – and also the part that makes them hesitate. If your first thought is “I can’t disappear for a few days” – that response is the exact reason it’s part of the programme. The level up requires a level down. Something shifts when a man steps fully out of the machine he’s built. That’s not a coincidence.
The city intensive is a full day of concentrated work with the room. Location confirmed closer to the date.
Mike reviews applications personally. He reads them carefully and responds within 48 hours – usually faster. Weekends will change this.
If there’s a fit, a 30-minute call gets scheduled from there. The whole process from application to decision typically moves within a week.
You’ve read this far because something landed. Men at your level don’t sit on decisions that matter. If it’s right, apply. The process moves when you do.
Both are 12-month rooms. Both go deep. The similarities end there.
Zeus Inner Circle is a group coaching container for men ready to go deeper in the work – broader audience, more regular calls, the full ELA methodology.
Zeus Black is built for business owners and senior leaders. You don’t need to have done prior work with Mike to join – but you do hit the ground running. Every member starts with a Sovereign Protocol half-day intensive with Mike, plus a four-week fast track through the core content. Your foundation is set before the room properly begins.
From there: monthly 90-minute 1:1 with Mike, a quarterly council session with an elder in men’s work, and two in-person experiences per year – a dedicated Hunt & Gather in Central Otago and a city intensive. None of that exists in Zeus.
The room is smaller. The proximity is higher. The work is more specific.
If you’re asking which one is right for you, that conversation happens on the call.
What happens in the room stays in the room. That’s not a policy enforced from the outside – it’s a standard the men hold themselves to. Part of what makes the work possible is that no one in Zeus Black is performing for each other.
That matters at this level. What gets said in a 1:1 with Mike stays between Mike and that man. What surfaces in the round table doesn’t leave the room. Men can speak plainly here because the room is genuinely closed.
The one exception: if Mike has a serious concern about someone’s safety or wellbeing, he may need to consult externally. If that situation ever arose, he’d seek permission first and have the conversation directly with the man involved.
That’s not a footnote, it’s how it should work.
